This Cookie Notice explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies Scanr.ai ("we," "us," or "our") uses on this site, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Necessary cookies — always on.These keep the Service working and cannot be switched off. We don't ask for consent to use them, because nothing about how they work depends on it:

• Supabase — authentication. Keeps you signed in between visits.
• Stripe — checkout. Processes subscription payments when you upgrade.
• CSP reporting — a same-origin report of content our browser security policy blocked. Used only to catch a broken policy, never to track you.

Optional cookies — off until you choose "Accept all." These only load after you accept them in the cookie banner, and never before:

• Featurebase— powers the in-app feedback and feature-request widget. Sets its own cookies and, if you're signed in, identifies you to Featurebase via a short-lived, server-signed token so your feedback is tied to your account.
• X (Twitter) advertising pixel— measures whether people who arrive from our ads on X go on to create an account or subscribe, so we can tell which ads are worth running. It sets X's own cookies and reports those two actions back to X. If you accept, we also confirm the same two actions to X from our servers, identified by a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address rather than the address itself. We never send X your name, your scans, your watchlists, or anything else you do on Scanr.ai.

Declining optional cookies does not restrict your access to any part of the Service — you just won't see the Featurebase widget, and nothing is reported to X.

Changing your choice.Your choice is remembered on this device (not tied to your account, so it survives signing out and signing back in) until you change it, or until we change what an optional cookie covers, in which case we'll ask again.
